A Birthday Party for Teddy

On Saturday L dumped out her toy basket filled with stuffed toys and found the teddy bear that my mom bought and made with her when we visited the Boyd's Bear Headquarters in Gettysburg, PA over 2 years ago. She played with it all day on Saturday and made a bed for it in a plastic shoe box with blankets and put it in her bed and slept with it all night. On Sunday morning she woke up and announced that today was Teddy's birthday. So...what are we going to do? Have a birthday party of course. We made a cake, A got his special teddy and we sang to him too. We did not get many photos and this is the only one that is worthy of posting. Happy Birthday Teddies!

A New Family Portrait

WOW! I am speechless. We have a budding artist in our house and he drew a brand new family portrait finely created in black Sharpie marker. Oh, his artwork also made it to his hands. Guess that I should be upset but I am still giggling. Nothing that a little paint can't remedy and that room is one that is on the agenda for this year anyway...

In other news, we have been sick for quite awhile and need prayer. Specifically for me this time. I have developed asthma and had a horrible attack that I am still recovering from. All of the medications have left my body a mess. Please pray for a full recovery.
